Ayana Kee Campoli is a member of LPI’s Educator Quality team, where she is analyzing large-scale data on school leaders, teachers, and the children they serve to inform policy and practice. Campoli has more than 14 years of experience in conducting education research with the goal of deepening our understanding of educators’ work lives and career trajectories. Prior to joining LPI, she was an assistant professor at Augusta University, where she taught courses on research methods to practicing educators and published work on the role of policy and leadership on teacher satisfaction and retention. Her work addresses the intersection of socioeconomic status, race, and gender through the use of critical quantitative methods.

Campoli holds an Ed.D. in Education Policy, Leadership, and Instructional Practice from Harvard University. She also holds an Ed.M. in Learning and Teaching from Harvard University, an MS in Special Education from the University of Oregon, and a BA in Cognitive Psychology from Duke University.
