Dara Liling

Writer/Editor

Dara Liling serves as Writer/Editor at the Learning Policy Institute.

Before joining LPI, Liling worked at NAFSA: Association of International Educators where, as Senior Editor and then Associate Director of Publications, she led the content development, editing, and production of books and digital resources throughout the entire publication life cycle. She has taught Academic Writing to first-year college students and English as a Second Language to immigrants and refugees. She also has extensive writing center experience, as a writing tutor, administrator, and tutor trainer.

Liling earned an M.A. in Writing Studies and Rhetoric from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Public and Professional Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
