Sara Robertson

Manager for Marketing and Outreach

Sara Robertson is a veteran communicator with nearly 20 years of experience in strategic communications and content marketing. As Manager for Marketing and Outreach, Robertson helps promote and gain traction for LPI’s research and policy proposals with a range of audiences, including policymakers, thought leaders, experts, advocates, and the media. She has been nationally recognized for campaigns in crisis communications and media strategy, and was awarded PR News’ PR Professional of the Year in 2016. Previously, Robertson refined her skills as senior communications specialist and media strategist at the National Education Association (NEA) in Washington, DC. Prior to working at NEA, she spent 5 years in media logistics and relations for the United States Senate Radio-TV Gallery in the U.S. Capitol.

Robertson serves on the board of directors for Return US Home, a nonprofit that educates the public and public servants about Parental Child Abduction and remedies for its prevention.

She earned an M.S. in Journalism and a B.A. in Mass Communication from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT.
