Laura Lynn is a Senior Research Communication Analyst at the Learning Policy Institute, where she directly supports the Chief of Operations. She collaborates with a wide range of teams across the organization (Research and Policy, Communications, Development, and Leadership) to develop and support internal operations and project management systems tied to LPI's education research portfolio. She specializes in translating complex, multi-source data into clear, actionable tools and processes that keep projects and teams aligned with organizational goals.

Before joining LPI, Lynn was a Senior Research Manager at the National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) in the United Kingdom, where she led the development of English formative and summative assessments. For example, she managed the delivery of content development for national reading tests for Australia and England (commissioned by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority and by England’s Standards and Testing Agency). She also led the development of the English strand of England's National Reference Test, commissioned by The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual). In her role at NFER, she was also responsible for training and supporting colleagues in developing writing and research skills and offered expertise in English across the wider organization.

Prior to joining NFER, Lynn was a middle school English Language Arts teacher in California and New York. She earned an MS in Education at The College of Saint Rose and a BA in English at SUNY–Albany.
