Tiffany S. Tan
Tiffany S. Tan is a Researcher at the Learning Policy Institute. She conducts quantitative research on the educator workforce, with a particular focus on teacher shortages, teacher turnover, and teacher preparation. Her work examines how policies shape these workforce trends and students' access to well-prepared and supported teachers.
Prior to joining LPI, Tan worked as a research assistant at the University of Florida, where she analyzed large-scale national datasets and taught courses in quantitative methods and education policy. She also worked as a teaching assistant in a public school in Florida.
Tan holds a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Florida and a BS in Early Childhood Development from the University of Central Florida.
