Larkin Willis is a Researcher and Policy Associate at the Learning Policy Institute. Her work at LPI focuses on supporting and documenting systems change to advance equity in K–12 and higher education. Her specific issue areas include educational leadership, teacher preparation, and student- and family-centered learning. Willis serves on the Board of Directors for Women in Government Relations.

Previously, Willis worked at Policy Analysis for California Education, where she supported a multi-year evaluation of the CORE Networked Improvement Community. Willis grounds her education policy and research work in her experiences teaching mathematics and science in southeastern Louisiana.

Willis earned her MA in International Comparative Education from Stanford University and BA with honors in Political and Social Thought from the University of Virginia.
