Emory Brinson

Emory Brinson is a Research Assistant at the Learning Policy Institute. With a focus on qualitative research, her work centers on educator preparation and quality, with a particular interest in studying and amplifying policies and practices that enable teachers and students of color to thrive.
Prior to joining LPI, she interned with the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Education and the Workforce, where she worked on early childhood and K-12 education issues under Congressman Bobby Scott. Her previous research analyzed state takeovers and their spillover effects on public pre-kindergarten programs.
Brinson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Literary Arts and International & Public Affairs, with a concentration in Public Policy, from Brown University.
