Authentic Learning Deep Dive
Learner-Centered Collaborative offers a self-paced online course in which educators design learning experiences rooted in real-world issues and community connection, with dedicated modules on anchoring lessons in authentic problems; fostering student collaboration; and designing for learning beyond classroom walls, with attention to student–community collaboration and connecting learning to individual student identities and goals.
Purposeful Pathways: From Vision to Action Learning Journey
StriveTogether offers a free, self-paced 90-minute learning opportunity—organized around the Commission on Purposeful Pathways’ A Launchpad for Life report and its three companion action guides. Designed for intermediaries, educators, employers, and cross-sector partners who want to move from understanding the vision for purposeful pathways to putting it into practice in their communities, the course also includes modules covering high-impact practices, enabling conditions, and a measurement framework for tracking progress over time.

Envision Learning Partners New Services
Envision Learning Partners is offering three new services for the 2026–27 school year to help district and school partners design learning experiences that are both academically rigorous and authentically connected to students’ lives. Offerings include curriculum adaptation support that infuses adopted instructional materials with High-Quality Performance Assessment principles, and systems-change coaching for leaders building the conditions that authentic, learner-centered education requires.

October 15, 2026, Norwood, MA | Great Schools Partnership’s 14th annual conference is centered on the idea that community is an essential anchor for redesign efforts. This year’s conference theme is “Community at the Core” and features a full day of educator- and student-led sessions that are focused on building redesign efforts around a shared community vision.

October 21–23, 2026, Palm Springs, CA | The Linked Learning Alliance’s annual conference marks 20 years of building career-connected, college-bound pathways for California students, convening educators, policymakers, and community partners for hands-on workshops, cross-sector networking, and a celebration of pathways achieving new levels of Linked Learning certification.

October 26–28, 2026, Baltimore, MD | This conference is designed specifically for state board members and comes at a time when many states are wrestling with how to align graduation requirements, accountability, and instructional models. Conference sessions feature deep dives into this kind of cross-system alignment work.

November 3–4, 2026, Chicago, IL | The Summit invites participants following the “From Ideas to Impact: Scaling What Works Through Improvement Science” conference strand to learn more about testing innovative ideas, learning from results, refining what works, and scaling for lasting impact. Optional pre-conference workshops dig further into using improvement science to drive change and build effective partnerships.

December 2–5, 2026, New Orleans, LA | The Association for Career and Technical Education’s annual conference brings together more than 6,000 secondary and postsecondary educators, business leaders, and industry experts for professional development, networking, and an expo highlighting the latest advances in career and technical education.

National Summit on Improvement in Education 2027 and Deeper Learning 2027
March 30–April 1, 2027, San Diego, CA | Improvement science uses data as a starting point from which teams can examine root causes, test solutions, and revisit the data to elevate practices that work. The summit’s signature “Improvement Review” sessions show that process in action, allowing participants to share real data and get feedback from experts. Session proposals across three strands—Getting Results, Improvement Methods, Leading Improvement—are being accepted through September 11, 2026.
