Shawnice Hood provides administrative management and event planning support to LPI’s Washington, DC, office.

Prior to joining LPI, Hood was on staff at the Alliance for Excellent Education. With more than 15 years of office management experience, Hood's skills include planning and managing conferences, overseeing budgets, supervising staff, and managing human resources. She is experienced at project management and creating efficient policies and procedures for office operations.

Hood has received certifications from the George Mason University Human Resource Management program and has participated in trainings from the George Washington Event Management Institute.
