  • p. iv, second paragraph of the Executive Summary, the second sentence was revised. It was changed from “As a result, by every measure of qualifications, students in low-wealth districts, who are frequently students from low-income families, typically have the fewest resources, including less-qualified teachers, poorer curriculum, larger classes, and fewer materials for learning.” to “ As a result, students in low-wealth districts, who are frequently students from low-income families, typically have the fewest resources, including less-qualified teachers, poorer curriculum, larger classes, and fewer materials for learning."
  • p. iv, seventh paragraph of the Executive Summary, the third sentence was revised. It was changed from “As of 2015, the most recent nationwide data available showed that 29 states had not yet returned to pre-2008 levels in their state and local education funding.” to “As of 2016 (the most recent nationwide data available), 24 states had not yet returned to pre-2008 levels in their state and local education funding.”
  • p. 1, third paragraph, first sentence, Endnote 3 was moved from following “teachers” to following “experience.”
  • p. 5, first paragraph, the third sentence was revised.
