Roger P. Weissberg

Roger P. Weissberg is a Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is also the Chief Knowledge Officer and Board Vice Chair of the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL), an international organization committed to making evidence-based social, emotional, and academic learning an essential part of preschool through high school education. For the past four decades Weissberg has trained scholars and practitioners on innovative ways to design, implement, and evaluate family, school, and community interventions. In February 2013 he was elected to the National Academy of Education.
