Tiffany S. Tan

Research and Policy Associate

Tiffany S. Tan is a Research and Policy Associate at the Learning Policy Institute. She is a quantitative researcher and her research focuses on the educator workforce, with a particular interest in teacher shortages, teacher recruitment, and teacher diversity.

Prior to LPI, Tan was a teaching assistant in an elementary school and conducted research during her undergraduate studies, where she completed an honors thesis.

She is currently a PhD candidate and research assistant in the Education Leadership and Policy program at the University of Florida (UF). At UF, she uses quantitative methods to analyze large-scale national data sets and teaches courses in Education Policy. Tiffany holds a BS in Early Childhood Development.
