Victoria Wang

Victoria Wang is a Research and Policy Associate at the Learning Policy Institute. Currently, she works on the Early Childhood Learning team to support research and policies that improve early learning systems in both California and other states.
Prior to joining LPI, Wang was a senior research associate at the Charles Butt Foundation, where she worked on public opinion and policy research. Her most recent work in that role centered on systemic strategies for improving teacher retention, for which she conducted literature reviews and qualitative research to amplify teachers’ voices. Wang grounds her education research and policy work in her personal experience teaching special education, preschool, and kindergarten in Austin, TX.
Wang holds an M.Ed in Educational Policy and Planning and an M.Ed in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.A. in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago.
