Larkin Willis is a Research and Policy Associate on the Educator Quality and Deeper Learning teams.

Willis comes to LPI from Policy Analysis for California Education, where she supported qualitative evaluation of the CORE Networked Improvement Community. As a graduate student, Willis conducted research exploring teacher perceptions of working conditions in Bay Area charter schools. She also worked as a research consultant for DreamCatchers Youth, a community-based organization serving students from low-income families in the Palo Alto public school system. Prior to that, Willis taught mathematics and science in the Recovery School District in New Orleans, LA.

Willis earned her M.A. in International Comparative Education from Stanford University and B.A. with honors in Political and Social Thought from the University of Virginia.
