Daniel Espinoza

Researcher and Policy Advisor

Daniel Espinoza is a Researcher and Policy Advisor on the Educator Quality and the Equitable Resources and Access teams. He is the lead author of Taking the Long View: State Efforts to Solve Teacher Shortages by Strengthening the Profession, and a co-author of Supporting Principals’ Learning: Key Features of Effective Programs.

As an undergraduate, he worked as a research assistant for the Institute for Latino Studies, assisting in studies exploring political identity formation for multiethnic voters. He also conducted research analyzing the impact and effectiveness of Chile’s national education voucher program, particularly for students of low socioeconomic background.

Espinoza holds a B.A. in both International Economics and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame.
